Lots Happening!

Wow! It's been way too long since I last had a post! So much happening right now. The house is ready to sell, but there's still lots to pack and do around here before heading to YWAM Chico, CA end of August. Tomorrow is Kevin's last day at Matchless after 18 years there. We're both feeling kinda blue, but know God has called us to this next step. There's so much processing of emotions as we walk forward on this new adventure God's called us to! We're excited too!

Nature Hikes

We've had such fun this year studying God's awesome creation with our "nature buddies" once a month, even throughout the winter! We've learned so much, from how to spot a wild columbine flower to finding the tracks of rabbits, deer, and many other animals. Here are some pictures of a recent hike we had at a state park.

The Tulip Festival

Yesterday for Mother's Day we went to the Tulip Festival downtown Albany in Washington Park. It was rainy and a little chilly, but we had fun nonetheless! We ate yummy gyros and the kids had pizza & fried dough then we wandered the park lookin at the beautiful flowers. How did you spend Mother's Day?

Hey all, I guess we started a blog... all I wanted to do was respond to Sam's recent entry on his blog http://www.armstrongrants.blogspot.com/ and when I went to post it they said I needed a name. I went ahead with entering my info. and at the end realized I was setting up a blog of my own. so, here we go...we've jumped on the bandwagon.
